Day
01: Arrival Copenhagen The
tour begins with your check in at the centrally located Copenhagen
hotel. Check-in available from 2pm. At 6pm, your tour escort will
invite you for a get-together dinner in a restaurant inside the famous
Tivoli Gardens. (O) Day
02: Copenhagen - DFDS overnight cruise to Oslo After
breakfast buffet this morning, a local guide and private coach will take
you on a 3-hour city tour of "Wonderful Copenhagen". We pass
City Hall Square, Christiansborg Palace, the old Stock Exchange, Nyhavn
Canal and the new Opera House. Photo stops will be made at the
royal residence Amalienborg Palace and the landmark of Copenhagen, The
Little Mermaid. The afternoon if free for a leisurely stroll on
the bustling pedestrian and shopping street "Stroget", and at
3:30pm a private coach is ready to bring you to the DFDS Seaways pier
for embarkation on the overnight ferry to Oslo. Departure at 5pm,
and while you sail past Hamlet's spectacular castle Kronborg, a delicious
buffet dinner is served in the restaurant. After dinner the evening is
free to visit the night club with live music and dancing. (B/D/O)
Day
03:
Arrival Oslo
Enjoy your leisurely buffet breakfast while cruising the idyllic Oslo
Fjord. Disembark in Oslo at 9:30am. At 10:00am a private coach and a
local guide will take you on a 3-hour city tour of Oslo, the Norwegian
capital. You will drive past Akerhus Fortress, the Parliament,
City Hall and the Royal Palace, and you will be taken to the Vigeland
Park to see the impressive sculptures by Norwegian artist Gustaf
Vigeland. Finally a drive towards Holmenkollen Hills will give you
a fine view of the ski jump and the surrounding hills. Time for a
light lunch at the main street Karl Johan or Aker Brygge, and the
sightseeing will end at the hotel for check in. The rest of the

Day 04: Oslo - Geilo
Breakfast in the hotel, and then a modern touring coach is ready to take
you into the Norwegian landscapes. We drive along the shores of
the Tyri Fjord to Hadeland for a visit to the glassworks, Norway's
oldest. We continue into the fertile Halling Valley with farms
scattered on the hillsides, and drive via Gol to Torpo to view the old
wooden stave church. Finally we proceed to Geilo, a famous ski
resort where dinner and over-night awaits you (B/D/O)
Day 05: Geilo - Flaam - Stalheim
After breakfast you will betaken to Geilo railway station for the 10.15am train departure to Myrdal. Here you change to the famous Flaam Railroad, the steepest and most spectacular railroad in Europe. 1.05pm arrival in the small village of Flaam, nested by the Aurland Fjord, time for lunch and some shopping.
At 3pm you will board a ferry to take you on a 2-hours cruise on the Aurland and Naeroy fjords, both arms of the majestic Sognefjord, and unforgettable experience of steep mountains and roaring waterfalls.
We disembark at 5pm in Gudvangen and drive up the narrow hairpin road to Stalheim, our mountain top hotel for the next 2 days. Dinner is at your Hotel.

Day 06: Stalheim - Bergen - Hardanger
Fjord -Stalheim
Today you well enjoy a full day excursion to Bergen. Driving time via Voss is 2,5 hours, and upon arrival in Bergen your tour escort will take you on a short orientation tour including the fish market and the Bryggen wharf, now on Unesco's World Heritage List. Free time to explore this charming city on your own, and mid-afternoon we return to Stalheim on a different route, this time via Steindalsfossen waterfalls and along the shores of the Hardanger Fjord and back via Voss. Dinner is at your hotel.

Day 07: Stalheim - Sognefjord -
Geiranger
After breakfast a descent to Vinje and a ferry crossing on the
Sognefjord from Vangsnes to Hella. From Hella we will drive along the
Sognefjord to Sogndal and then through the Fjaerland Tunnel which will
take us to the tip of the ice blue Jostedal Glacier which can be seen
from the road before we continue our drive via Skei and Loen along the
Hornindal Lake to Hellesylt. At 5pm a ferry will take you on a
unforgettable 65 minute cruise on the fabulous Geiranger Fjord where you
pass Seven Sisters Waterfalls. Disembark in Geiranger. (B/D/O)
Day 08: Geiranger - Lillehammer
This morning a short drive to Dalsnibba, one of the most famous panorama points in Norway and then via Grotli to Lom where we stop to view the old wooden stave church from the 12th century. We then drive via Otta into the Gudbrands Valley, also said to be the home of the Trolls, and in the afternoon we reach Lillehammer, site of the 1994 Winter Olympics. After a short orientation drive of the Olympic sites,
we will check into our hotel, free time before dinner to stroll around
on the charming main street. Dinner is at your hotel. (B/D/O)
Day 09: Hamar - Karlstad - Stockholm
Today we drive a cross the border into Sweden and across forest-clad landscapes
into Karlstad. Situated on the north shore of Sweden's largest lake,
Vanern and next to the Klaralven river, this is truly a beautiful city
and a perfect place to stop for lunch. After lunch we will be making our
way along the King's Road, a historical thoroughfare route dating from
the 13th century, taking us to our final destination at Stockholm. (B/O)
Day 10: Stockholm
This morning after breakfast, a local guide and private coach will take us on a 3-hours city tour of Stockholm. We visit the City Hall, site of the annual Nobel Prize Banquet. We enjoy a panoramic view from Fjellgatan Street of the city, also called "Beauty on the Water", and we take a stroll in the Old Town with its narrow cobble-stoned streets. On our way back to the hotel we pass the Royal Palace, the Parliament and the modern part of the city. Your afternoon is at leisure to shop for the last Scandinavian souvenir or maybe take an optional cruise in the canals and harbors of Stockholm.
