Day 01: Arrive Vienna, Saturday
You will be met and transferred to the your hotel. Plenty of time to relax before meeting your fellow travelers and your Tour Director at the welcome dinner. (D,O)

Day 02: Vienna, Sunday
Our morning sightseeing tour features the Hofburg Palace, once the seat of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Belvedere Palace, views of Prater amusement park, UN buildings, St. Stephen's Cathedral and other vivid reminders of the city's imperial history. Afternoon at leisure (B,O)

Day 03: To Budapest, Monday
Today we will travel east, and after crossing the border to Hungary, we will proceed onward through the region of Transdanubia, reaching Budapest on the time to relax before dinner. (B,D,O)

Day 04: Budapest, Tuesday
Situated on the opposite banks of the Danube River, the former cities of Buda and Pest are linked by a series of graceful bridges. Our morning sightseeing tour includes views of the outstanding the Parliament, Royal Palace, Castle Hill area, Fisherman's Bastion, Matthias Church, Hero's Square and Gellert Hillwith its Citadel. The balance of the day is at leisure to explore this exciting city on your own. (B,O)

Day 05: To Krakow, Wednesday
The road to Krakow winds through the lovely hills and countryside of Slovakia, past the Tatras and into the great plains of Poland. A relaxing dinner in Krakow is planned upon the arrival. 420 km (B,D,O)

Day 06: Krakow, Thursday
Sightseeing will start with visit to Wawel Hill, viewing the Royal Castle and visiting the Royal Cathedral. Enjoy the walking tour of the Old Town where you will visit the Main Market Square, Renaissance Cloth Hall and St. Mary's Church. The afternoon is free for strolling around the city on your own. Day 07: To Warsaw, Friday
During the morning journey to Warsaw there is time for an optional side trip to one of the most somber memorials of our past, Auschwitz. After lunch break on your own, we proceed via Czestochowa, known for the blackened picture of St. Mary in the Yasna Gora Monastery, popularly called the "Black Madonna". We end our day in Poland's capital city, Warsaw. 400 km (B,D,O)

Day 08: Warsaw, Saturday
This 700 year old capital of Poland is a symbol of nationhood and the will to survive against great odds. A sightseeing tour here includes a drive along the famous Royal Route from magnificent Castle Square to Lazienki Park with its Palace, summer residence of the last King of Poland. Pass by the Palace of Science and Culture {known as a “wedding cake”), the Saxon Gardens, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Monument to the Heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto and the Barbican. Continue with the walking tour of the Old Town, Old Market Square and St. John’s Cathedral. The rest of the day is free for shopping, a stroll through the city or an optional late afternoon Chopin concert. (B,O)

Day 09: Depart Warsaw, Sunday
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport by your local host to board your homebound flight. (B)
