1, Sunday: Rome
Arrival Transfer from the airport to the hotel. (O)
Day 2, Monday: Rome
After breakfast depart from the hotel for a walking tour. Visit St.
Peter's Basilica, Navona square, the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. In the
afternoon explore the rest of the city at your own leisure. (B,O)
Day 3, Tuesday: Rome, Assisi, Siena, Florence
Early morning departure for ASSISI, the mystic town of Saint Francis
still surrounded by ancient walls. Explore on your own the tine town,
visit the Basilica of Saint Francis with its early Renaissance
masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue. Proceed to SIENA, the beautiful
medieval city famous for the Palio. Continue to FLORENCE. Dinner and
overnight. (B,D,O)
Day 4, Wednesday: Florence
Buffet breakfast. Guided sightseeing tour of the cradle of the
Renaissance. Visit the beautiful Piassa del Duomo, the Cathedral of
Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto's Bell Tower, the Baptistery of St. John,
the Academy of Fine Arts Gallery housing the "David" by
Michelangelo, and Santa Croce, the 13th century Franciscan church with
the famous Cimabue's crucifix. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and

Day 5, Thursday: Florence, Padua, Venice
Buffet breakfast. Departure for Venice via PADUA, where you will visit
the famous Cathedral of St. Anthony, guarded by Donatello's "Gattamelatta".
Continue to VENICE, and upon arrival enjoy a guided walking tour of this
unique city. Exterior visit of the square and Basilica of St. Mark, the
Doge's Palace, the Bridge of Sighs and the Prisons. Dinner and overnight

Day 6, Friday: Venice
Buffet breakfast. Explore the city on your own or spend the day at
leisure. Dinner and Overnight (B,D,O)
Day 7, Saturday: Venice, Montepulciano - Rome
Buffet breakfast and depart for Tuscany, known for its historical
church's and castles. Visit Montepulciano, a medieval town famous for
"nobile" wine and for the annual Jazz Festival. In the
afternoon return to Rome. (B,O)
Day 8, Sunday: Rome, Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento
Departure to NAPLES, panoramic city tour and continue to POMPEII. Lunch
in a typical restaurant. After the visit of the ruins continue of
Pompeii drive along the beautiful Sorrentine coast, famous for the
cultivation of oranges, lemons and olive trees. Dinner and overnight (B,D,O)
Day 9, Monday: Sorrento, Capri
Excursion to Capri to discover the beauty of this wonderful island.
Weather permitting visit the Blue Grotto. Lunch in a typical restaurant.
Visit Anacapri, time at leisure. Return to Sorrento by ferry. Dinner and

Day 10, Tuesday: Sorrento, Amalfi
Morning departure to Amalfi. Enroute you will see Positano and other
picturesque fishing villages. Time at leisure in Amalfi. Dinner and

Day 11, Wednesday: Amalfi
Full day at leisure or explore the city on your own. Dinner and

Day 12, Thursday: Amalfi, Pompeii, Rome
Buffet breakfast. Morning at leisure, early afternoon transfer to
Pompeii where will start our trip back to Rome. (B,O)
