Arrival and overnight at the adventure and wilderness lodge Fosshotel
Nesbud in the geothermal mountain area of Nesjavellir/Mt. Hengill. (O)

Spend a day hiking at Thingvellir, Iceland's largest national park,
listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 2 nights at Reykholt or similar.

Day 04: Husavik
Drive north to Husavik, Europe's whale-watching capital, passing
Akureyri, the capital of the north, and Godafoss - the waterfall of the
gods. Entrance to the whale museum in Husavik included. Stay 3 nights at

Day 05: Husavik
Explore Jokulsarjljufur National Park, featuring Asbyrgi canyon, the
