Day 01: Nesjavellir
Arrival in Iceland. Visit the famed Blue Lagoon and experience its ethereal winter atmosphere before driving to Nesjavellir. Stay 3 nights at Fosshotel Nesbud or similar, including breakfast and 3-course "ugly fish" dinner on day of arrival. (B,O)

Day 02: Nesjavellir
Visit the huge Gullfoss waterfall, which could be frozen at this time of year, and Geysir, the fascinating geothermal area that gave its name to geysers worldwide.
