Explore Snaefellsnes peninsula with its snow-capped volcano, stunning coastline, lava fields and bird colonies. (B,O)

Day 04: Skagafjordur 
Drive north to Skagafjordur, the valley of the horses and home of Glaumbaer turf farm. Overnight at Fosshotel Aning or similar.(From September - May the night at Fosshotel Aning will be replaced with 3 nights at Husavik). (B,O)

Day 05: Reykjadalur Valley 
Visit Akureyri, the capital of North Iceland, and Godafoss, the waterfall of the gods. 2 nights at Fosshotel Laugar or Husavik. (B,O)

Day 06: Reykjadalur Valley 
Explore the sights of Lake Myvatn. (B,O)

Day 07: Hallormsstadur 
Drive to East Iceland and overnight at Fosshotel Hallormsstadur or Valaskjalf. (B,O)

Day 08: Hornafjordur 
Enjoy the dramatic East Fjords before reaching Europe's largest glacier, Vatnajokull. Overnight at Fosshotel Vatnajokull or similar. (B,O)

Day 09: Hella or Nesjavellir 
Drive along the south coast and witness many natural wonders, including a glacial lagoon and Skaftafell National Park. Overnight at Fossthotel Mosfell in Hella or Fosshotel Nesbud in Nesjavellir. (B,O)
