Day 01: - Frankfurt
Arrive in Frankfurt by own arrangements. Find the documentation for the tour upon check in at hotel. (O)
Day 02: - Frankfurt - Rothenburg -
Dinkelsbuhl
After breakfast you are going along the Autobahn A3 towards
Wurzburg through the Spessart Mountains. Following the scenic
Tauber valley, passing by small, historical villages you arrive at Rothenburg Tauber, the medieval jewel of Germany, where at 02.00 pm, starting at the city hall, you may join the city walk. From there it is just a short ride to
Dinkelsbuhl, the former Free Imperial Town, surrounded by ancient town walls which you will explore when you accompany the Night Watch-man in the evening.

Day 03: - Dinkelsbuhl - Nordlingen - Augsburg
In the morning we are heading south to Nordlingen, the only town in Germany, where you can walk the walls and battlements all the way round, the historical old town is dominated by the 100 yard high bell tower of St. George church. Next stop is Augsburg - founded more than 200 years ago by the Roman Emperor Augustus. Join
a city tour, starting at the city hall. (B/O)
Day 04: - Augsburg - Wies - Hohenschwangau
After breakfast we are following the Romantic Road heading to the Alps, where the first stop will be at the Wies Church, another architectural treasure and the most beautiful rococo church of Bavaria. The Romantic Roads ends in Fuessen and only 3 km away is Hohenschwangau with the royal castles. Upon check-in at Hotel Mueller you will get your tickets for Neuschwanstein Castle. (Please note that latest admission is at 03.30 pm!)
