Day 1: Frankfurt - Rothenburg
Depart from Frankfurt for a picturesque drive through the Spessart Mountains to
Wurzburg, on the banks of the river Main. Continue on the Romantic Road to Rothenburg. Germany’s well-preserved "Jewel of the Middle Ages" with its ramparts, city gates, town hall and Jakobskirche (church) with an altar by the famous wood-carver Tilman Riemenschneider. In the morning receive your tickets for the Neuschwanstein Castle at the front desk of your hotel and visit the famous "Cinderella Castle", built by King Ludwig II. In the late afternoon proceed to Munich, where tour ends at approx. 7:00 p.m. (B)
