Day 1: - Frankfurt - Rothenburg 
Depart from Frankfurt for a picturesque drive through the Spessart mountains to Wurzburg, on the banks of the river Main. Continue on the Romantic Road to Rothenburg o.d.T., Germany’s well-preserved "Jewel of the Middle Ages" with its ramparts, city gates, town hall and Jakobskirche (church) with an altar by the famous woodcarver Tilman Riemenschneider. Upon arrival in Rothenburg, a taxi will take you to your hotel. In the afternoon or evening please join the city walk with local guide or the historic Night Watchman in Rothenburg. (O)

Day 2: - Rothenburg - Augsburg 
After breakfast, a taxi will meet you at your hotel and take you to the bus stop. Your coach drives along the Romantic Road passing such picturesque places as Dinkelsbuhl, Nordlingen and Donauworth, with high gabled houses and cobbled streets. Arrival at Augsburg in the early afternoon. (B/O)

Day 3: - Augsburg - Munich 
After breakfast, you are invited to go on a city tour, starting at the City Hall. You will get to know all  important sights of Augsburg, which was a metropolis during the Roman times and famous for old trading dynasties (the Fuggers). In the late afternoon Board the coach to Munich. (B/O)

Day 4: - Munich - Zugspitze - Munich 
In the morning please take the train from Munich train station to Garmisch- Partenkirchen. From there you take a cable car up to Germany’s highest peak. Enjoy the breathtaking view from the Zugspitze. In the afternoon you will travel to Munich by train. (B/O)

Day 5: - Munich 
Tour ends with breakfast. (B)

Reverse itinerary: 
Tour ends in Frankfurt at approx. 7:30 p.m.
