Departure for Saint Rémy de Provence with a photo stop at St Paul de Mausole (the mental hospital where Van Gogh stayed for 1 year) located in a field of olive-trees, landscape painted several times by Van Gogh. Les Baux de Provence, village set upon a rock at 245 meters high, with its historical pedestrian center : the museum of santons, the Hôtel des Porcelets, beautiful house of the 16th century, the St Vincent Church, pretty Romanesque building. Walking tour in Arles, rich in architectural heritage : the famous Roman amphitheatre and antic theatre, the Romanesque Cathedral and the places painted by Van Gogh : La maison jaune, Le café la nuit, Le jardin de l’hôtel Dieu. Departure Town Avignon. Morning tour : free time for lunch on your own. Provençal market in Arles (Saturdays). Approximately 5hrs. Tour will operate with a minimum of 2 pax.
