Day 01: Vienna
Arrival in Vienna and private transfer to your hotel. Overnight in
Vienna. (O)
Day 02: Vienna
Morning sightseeing tour of the city. See the famous Ringstrasse and
include a visit to the magnificent Schonbrunn Palace, the former
imperial residence. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Vienna. (B,O)
Day 03: Vienna
Day as leisure. Visit one of the impressive museums, a "must"
is a visit to one of the traditional Viennese coffee houses for a coffee
and cake, or enjoy the magnificent shopping in the heart of the city.
Vienna is a city of contrasts. Palaces and churches, museums and
monuments all bear evidence to the splendor of Austria's imperial past.
Just as impressive are also the magnificent Art Nouveau buildings and

Day 04: Vienna to Salzburg
In the morning private transfer to the Vienna train station, take the
train to baroque city of Salzburg, roughly 3 hours train ride. After
arrival private transfer from the train station to your hotel. "One
of the most beautiful regions on earth" was how the famous German traveler
Alexander von Humbolt once described Salzburg and its surroundings.

Day 05: Salzburg
The elegant city of Salzburg was also the setting for the world famous
"Sound of Music" film. This morning's tour will not only show
you the highlights of the city, but also some of the original film
locations. Afternoon at leisure, overnight in Salzburg. (B,O)
Day 06: Salzburg
Day at leisure. Salzburg and its surrounding, the lake district called
"Salzkammergut", has unique charm, thanks to its geographic
location, amidst the lakes and mountains of the Salzkammergut. You could
use the day for optional excursions to the Salt mines or the Ice Caves
or visit Eagle's nest and Berchtesgaden. Alternatively enjoy the
atmosphere of this unique Austrian city, the birthplace of Wolfgang
Amadeus Mozart. Overnight in Salzburg. (B,O)
Day 07: Salzburg to Munich
In the morning transfer from your hotel to the train station to take the
train to Munich, situated at the foot of the Alps, only a short distance
from the Austrian border. After arrival private transfer to your hotel,
rest of the day at leisure. (B,O)
Day 08: Munich
In the morning city tour of Munich. Get to know the capital of Bavaria.
This prosperous metropolis boasts a friendly, convival atmosphere, not
least because of the many celebrations which take place all year round.
The most famous of these is of course the world famous "October
Festival". Overnight in Munich. (B,O)
Day 09: Munich
Day at leisure. Enjoy the atmosphere in the Bavarian capital or take an
optional excursion to the Royal Castle of Herrenchiemsee or the castles
of Linderhof & Neuschwantstein, dating back to King Ludwig II.

Transfer with private car to Munich airport and journey home. (B)
