Day 01: Munich
Upon arrival at Munich Airport you pick up your rental car and make your way to the booked hotel in Munich.
2 x Overnight: Hotel Holiday Inn City Center or similar. (O)
Day 02: Munich
Munich – the capital of the state of Bavaria. You will have a voucher for the official hop-on / hop-off tour starting just opposite of Munich Main Train Station in front of the department store KARSTADT. Munich has such a lot to offer, here are just a few of the important sights: Nymphenburg castle, the baroque palace was in former times residence of the monarchs of Bavaria, the Residence, Maximilian- &
Leopold street, the Opera, the Olympic Grounds, the Marienplatz with the City Hall, and its
carillon, the church St. Peter, the Viktualien-Market and many more.

Day 03: Munich
- Salzburg
After breakfast we are leaving Munich and it is a 2 h drive to the City of Mozart – Salzburg. A local guide will meet you to do a 2h walking tour, where you will see the well known sites like Getreidegasse, the
cathedral , the festival house, we will also visit Mozart's birthplace. And it is a must to try the local
specialty - the famous sweets the "Mozartkugeln". Overnight: Hotel Mercure or similar

Day 04: Salzburg
- Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Hohenschwangau
From Salzburg you are going to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. You will have a ticket in your documentation to take the rack-railway to go up
Germanys highest mountain, the Zugspitze. Enjoy the incomparable view of the
innumerable mountain peaks of Germany, Austria & Italy. From Garmisch-Partenkirchen on we go via scenic routes and passing by Oberammergau – the town where every year the famous Passion Play Is taking place – to
Hohenschwangau. Overnight: Hotel Jägerhaus & Lisl or similar.

Day 05: Hohenschwangau
- Bregenz
In the morning you will have a voucher which you can change at the Ticket Center at Hohenschwangau into a ticket for a guided tour of Neuschwanstein Castle. This palace was built by King Ludwig II. This castle ranked number eight when millions of people decided on the internet about the “new seven world wonders” and was model for the Cinderella castle by Walt Disney. In the afternoon we are heading along the German Alpine Road to the city of
Bregenz. Overnight: Hotel Messmer or similar. (B/O)
Day 06: Bregenz
- Titisee or Triberg
The town of Bregenz, is famous for the famous music festival on the sea stage is taking place. You can also take a ride up to the Pfaender mountain, from where you have a fantastic view over the lake.
From Bregenz it is just a five minutes ride to Lindau, based on an island in the Lake
Constance. Walk through the beautiful old town with the painted houses, enjoy a cup of coffee at the
harbor, dominated by the harbor tower and the statue of the Bavarian lion. You should leave latest at about 02:00 pm, as to get to the southern black
forest along the northern shore of Lake Constance, you cannot use motorways, so you have to calculate 2-3 hours. Destination is either Triberg or Titisee in the southern black
forest. Overnight: Hotel Maritim Titisee, Parkhotel Wehrle Triberg or similar

Day 07: Baden-Baden
After breakfast you start your scenic drive through the beautiful landscape of the black
forest and are heading for Baden-Baden one of the top spa towns in Germany where once a year also horse races take place which can be compared to Ascot in the UK. Enjoy a relaxing walk through the spa gardens and try the healthy water.

Day 08: Baden-Baden
- Heidelberg - Ruedesheim
From Baden-Baden it is not far to the city of Heidelberg where a local guide will wait for you to do a walking tour of the Heidelberg Castle and the old town with the university, the old bridge, the market square, the house Zum Ritter St. Georg. Then you go on to the beautiful Rhine Valley to Ruedesheim, where you can stroll the scenic narrow alleys, enjoy a walk along the banks of river Rhine and in the evening a delicious farewell dinner.

Day 09: Ruedesheim
- Frankfurt
Depending on departure time of your flight – rooms have to be left before 11:00 am – drive to Frankfurt Int. airport – takes about 45 min.
