Day 1:
Saturday - Munich
After your arrival at Munich airport a driver will welcome you and take you in a private limousine to the hotel where for the following six nights a room is already booked for you. Please do not forget to inform us in advance about your flight arrival details! The rest of the day is free for own activities.

Day 2: Sunday - Munich
At 09:30 am your tour guide will meet you at the hotel’s lobby to take you on an extensive city tour of Munich – the capital of the state of Bavaria.
Our first stop is at Nymphenburg Palace. In former times, this baroque palace was seat of the Bavarian monarchs.
Afterwards, you will see the residence, splendid Maximilian- and Leopoldstreet, the opera, the
Olympic Grounds, Marienplatz with City hall and its famous ‘Glockenspiel’ (carillon),
St. Peter’s Church, the Viktualien-Market and much more. And, of course, you will have the afternoon to stroll around the romantic Munich Christmas market.
In the evening, our welcome dinner will take place in a typical restaurant.

Day 3: Monday - Munich, Oberammergau,
Hohenschwangau, Munich
After the breakfast we start heading south, towards Oberammergau. The village is internationally famous for its Passion Play – generally performed every ten years – and for its numerous buildings with tromp l'oeil (Lueftlmalerei) painted façades. our next stop is the glorious rococo church in
Wies. Continue to Hohenschwangau where we will have a light lunch at
Schlosshotel Lisl or Villa Jägerhaus. Afterwards, you will visit Neuschwanstein Castle, the breathtaking fairytale castle of King Ludwig ii. it was ranked No. 8 when millions of people decided on the ‘new seven world wonders’ and was model for Walt
Disney's Cinderella castle. In the late afternoon we return to our hotel in Munich.

Day 4: Tuesday - Munich, Nuremberg, Regensburg,
Munich
In the morning we leave Munich to go north, to the city of Nuremberg. This Franconian metropolis has a very special flair which you will experience during an orientative city tour. You will see the former
‘Reichsparteitagsgelände’ (Party Rallye Grounds), Court room 600 where the famous Nuremberg trials were held, the beautiful old Town with preserved city wall and gates, the
Hauptmarkt, the Imperial Castle (Kaiserburg) and much more. Nuremberg and the Franconian region are also famous for its special grilled sausages, so called ‘Nürnberger rostbratwürste’, which you have to try before you have time on your own to visit the ‘Christkindlesmarkt’ – probably the most famous Christmas market of the world. on the way back
to Munich we will make a short stop in the city of Regensburg where at the castle of the aristocratical family of Thurn and Taxis (who invented the modern post delivery system) a unique, little Christmas market awaits you. return to Munich in the evening.

Day 5: Wednesday - Munich, Salzburg, Munich
Today we leave Germany going to the native city of the world famous composer Wolfgang
Amadeus Mozart, Salzburg in Austria. While walking through the old Town you will see its highlights such as Mozart’s birthplace, Getreidegasse and the cathedral.
Should the weather be nice, you will enjoy a ride with a cog railway up to the Fortress
Hohensalzburg. From this spot you will have a beautiful view over Salzburg
and the surrounding mountain scenery. If the weather conditions should not allow this activity, we will visit the inside of the Mozarthaus. You will have enough time to spend on your own, just strolling around, visiting the lovely Christmas market and, of course, you should not miss the opportunity to taste the famous sweets made in
Salzburg, Mozartkugeln. In the late afternoon we return to Munich. (B/O)
Day 6: Thursday - Munich, Rothenburg, Augsburg,
Munich
After breakfast we will take you to another highlight of this tour,
Rothenburg ob Der Tauber, Germany’s well-preserved ‘Jewel of the Middle ages’.
During a city walk, including a visit of St. Jacob’s Church with the holy Blood altar by Tilman
Riemenschneider, you will experience the special flair of this unique town.
Afterwards, enjoy the charming Christmas market! Going back to Munich we will do a stop in
Augsburg where your guide will give you an impression of the town which in former times was dominated by the Fugger trader dynasty. in the evening our farewell dinner will be served at
the Ratskeller, a typical restaurant located in the basement of Munich City hall.
