ITINERARY

Day 1: Fortaleza

Upon arrival, guide assistance and transfer to Fortaleza selected hotel. Accommodation and overnight. (O)

 

Day 2: Fortaleza

After breakfast, we go for a sightseeing ride through the city lasting about 3 hours, full of beauty, packed with emotions and pleasant surprises. Fortaleza is today the country’s 5th largest capital in the number of inhabitants, is a town which has retained its quiet, peace full and hospitable atmosphere. The stream-lined modern downtown , teeming with top-rate hotels, international class restaurants and excellent entertainment and leisure places, as well as the old town which is a guardian of the best of its past and traditions. The old light-house in Mucuripe, our lady of assumption fortress, the historical and Anthropological Museum, the Central Place, the former Public Prison building now turned into an up-to-date tourist center, and much more, linking past to present time. Return to hotel. Afternoon at disposal. (B,O)

 

Day 3: Fortaleza - Natal

After breakfast, our guide will assist you during your check out and transfer from hotel to Fortaleza airport for your short flight to Natal, the Capital city of Rio Grande
do Norte, in the Northeastern region of Brazil. Upon Arrival, our guide will assist you during the transfer and accommodation at the selected hotel. Free afternoon. Overnight. (B,O) 

 

Day 4: Natal

After breakfast, We start our day getting to know the city. Our tour passes by the famous tourist places of Natal, the Via Costeira (Coast Road) passing by the Areia Preta’s Beach, Artista’s Beach, Meio’s Beach, Forte’s Beach and Rei Mago´s Fortress - this beautiful 17th century building exists due to the battles on the coast between the Portuguese and the Dutch. Approaching downtown there’s the Nossa Senhora da Apresentação Church, the Palácio Potengi and the residential districts of Santos Reis, Rocas and Ribeira. Our Final stop is at the Tourist Center, where you can find local souvenirs shops with handicrafts from the Northeast. Return to hotel. Afternoon at Disposal. Overnight. (B,O)

 

Day 5: Natal - Recife

After breakfast, our guide will assist you to your transfer out from the hotel to Natal International airport, to catch a short flight to Recife. Upon arrival, a guide will assist you during your transfer and hotel check in. Accommodation and overnight at selected hotel. (B,O)

 

Day 6: Recife

After Breakfast, we go on a pleasant panoramic tour, starting at Boa Viagem beach, with its reefs, natural swimming pools of warm waters and the beauty of the coconut trees. You will also see the historical center, with its eclectic architecture, old churches to the centennial bridges that were a mark the in Recife urbanization.
Heading for Olinda, a humanity's cultural and natural patrimony, with its convents, monasteries and churches,
built with art and with faith, the narrow streets with colonial houses, the exotic slopes that lead to the city highest point, the Alto da Sé, with a splendid view of Recife, of the surrounding islands and of the huge beach area. Return to hotel. Balance the day at disposal. Overnight. (B,O)   

 

Day 7: Recife - Salvador 

After breakfast, our guide will assist you to your transfer out from the hotel to Recife International airport, to catch a short flight to Salvador. Upon arrival, a guide will assist you during your transfer and hotel check in. Accommodation and overnight at selected hotel. (B,O)

 

Day 8: Salvador

Breakfast. We start the day on a historical tour around Salvador. The modern suburb of Barra at the mouth of the Bay with its famous lighthouse and make our way slowly by car or coach to the old historical section of town, the Pelourinho area with the largest and best preserved complex of colonial architecture in the America's. We stroll through the narrow, bustling streets lined with buildings in pastel shades of an age gone by, soaking in the sights and sounds of this vibrant city. We visit the church of São Francisco with its exuberant gold-leafed Baroque interior and the Pelourinho square, the heart of the old town. We return to our vehicle and hotel by an alternative route. This tour shows two distinct aspects of Salvador, the new and the old, concentrating on the early expansion of the city and is a very good orientation for those wishing to further explore the city. Return to hotel. Afternoon at disposal. Overnight (B,O)

 

Day 9: Salvador

After Breakfast, our guide will assist you during your hotel check out and your transfer to Salvador international airport for your flight back home. End of tour. (B,O)
